Video Viewing Tips
The Young Turks video is in Windows Media Player. To view it, you must have Windows Media Player version 9.0 or 10.0 or higher.
For some users, the new slideshow of rotating graphics left of the video screen makes the video stop every time the image changes. If you are experiencing this problem, create a free user account with the website (if you don't have one already). When logged in using your free user account, click My Preferences in the upper right. Then click Interface. Scroll down about half way down the page and look for Frontpage Slideshow. Uncheck the little box, save your preferences (at the bottom of the page) and try again. The slideshow should stop, and the video should run smoothly.
Mac users may have to take other measures. First, Mac users should make sure they have Windows Media Player installed.
Microsoft has a new download that may help Mac users. Go to www.microsoft.com/downloads and find the download for Windows Media Components for Quick Time.
The MAC version of Windows Media Player can be downloaded here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/mac/mp9/default.aspx Another option is to go to the website www.flip4mac.com and attempt to download the proper application for Macs.

Hey guys, just had a look at the viewing tips and noticed a lack of a linux option. Alot of linux users are tech savvy and will have the stream working direct on the website, however 1, it doesnt look great especially compared to the .wmv stream when viewed in windows and 2, it jutters sometimes. Anyways a way round this is to download the ubiquitous VLC player (available on all platforms i think...) certainly linux and windows! When VLC is open hit 'ctrl + n' to open a network stream and paste the URL ' http://winmedia.voxcdn.net/3137-live1-wmv' . The quality is as good as wmp and all is good. _____________________________
