Cenk, your response on this was WEAK SAUCE (none / 0)

The proper response, going by your own standards, to McCain's undiplomatic treatment of Spain and its leader is NOT just to say that it is problematic for our future relations.  Given Spain's participation in Afghanistan, as part of NATO, does it not follow that McCain's belligerence towards Spain endangers both our troops and military effort in Afghanistan?  What if Spain were to be insulted by McCain's comments, and decided to pull their troops from Afghanistan?

If this were World War 2, McCain would apparently have insulted the Russians, endangering our alliance, if it could have helped him win an election.
